WELCOME TO THE CENTRAL ENERGY TRUST

The Central Energy Trust provides grants to community, sporting, educational, cultural and health organisations within the Manawatu/Tararua regions for projects which are energy-related and which will benefit the consumer's of the former CentralPower/ElectroPower energy companies. The range of organisations that benefit from funding provided by the Central Energy Trust can be seen by the assortment of photos displayed throughout the website.

The Central Energy Trust also provides up to ten academic bursaries and five trade bursaries each year to students to provide assistance with the cost of their tertiary education and training.

Community Grants
The last grant round was held in November 2011 with some $620,025 being approved to forty four organisations.

The next grant round is scheduled for May 2012 with applications closing at 5.00pm on Monday 7 May 2012. For more information please click here.

Bursaries
Applications for the 2012 Bursaries have now closed. Applications for 2013 Bursaries will open in September 2012.
